CoreTex keeps the standard BOTCOIN 24-hour epoch rhythm.

During The Epoch

• Miners request CoreTex challenges.
• CoreTex verifies patches against the current live root.
• Qualified screener passes earn 1x work credit.
• Valid state advances update the live root and earn policy-weighted work credit.

At Epoch End

• The epoch secret is revealed.
• Auditors can reproduce hidden shard assignments.
• The final CoreTex state root is committed.
• The patch-set root and score root are committed.
• The audit window opens.

Audit Window

V0 uses a 6-hour audit window. During that period, anyone can run Botcoin CoreTex and check whether replay from chain events produces the same root that the coordinator finalized.

If there is divergence, operators can revert and re-finalize within the audit window. This is an honest V0 trust assumption. A future V1 can replace this with a bond-based challenge game or a ZK fraud-proof path.
